SWOD - GEHEN (TOWERBLOCK 021 LP/CD)
Next up, on August 23rd, is Swod's debut album
"Gehen". Swod is Oliver Doerell from Dictaphone, whos
subtle electronics meet Stephan W?hrmann's skills as a
classical trained piano player. Expect one of the most
beautiful CCO releases ever. Listen to a little
snippet on their website!
DUB TRACTOR - FASTER E.P. (BLOCK 028 12")
On September 6th, Dub Tractor will release his new
E.P. It is called "Faster" and contains five new
tracks with even more guitars and singing. He is
currently working on his second album for CCO which
will see the light of day in 2005.
I'M NOT A GUN - OUR LIVES ON WEDNESDAYS (TOWERBLOCK
022 LP/CD)
September 20th sees the release of the new album by
I'm Not A Gun aka John Tejada and Takeshi Nishimoto.
"Our Lives On Wednesdays" contains even more elaborate
tracks and more electronics, although you do not
really realise. We are very proud about this record. A
12" with remixes by John Tejada himself, Dntel & K is
already floating around on testpressings and will be
released in late October.
MIWON - BROTHER MOLE (BLOCK 030 12")
On october 4th, we welcome a new artist to the
CCO-camp. Miwon has been a long-time member of the
Berlin-based electronic music scene and we are happy
to release his second ever release. "Brother Mole"
contains three wonderful synthpop-tracks, plus a remix
by John Tejada.
MARSEN JULES - HERBSTLAUB (TOWERBLOCK 023 LP/CD)
Finally, we welcome another new artist: Marsen Jules.
He'll release his album "Herbstlaub" on October 18th.
Marsen (also known as Krill.Minima) has released a lot
of stuff on net-based labels and we are happy to
welcome him to the "real" world. "Herbstlaub" on the
most melancholic orchestral recordings you can think
of. More we cannot say at the moment :)
For 2005, we have plenty of releases lined up already,
including Cyne's long awaited album, new material from
The Remote Viewer, Boy Robot and a couple of surprises
...
