BAFF 2004 Hall CCCB, Barcelona friday may 7th 22:30 h free admitance! spa.RK, in collaboration with BAFF 2004 VI BARCELONA ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL, presents a magnific event: FREEFORM playing "Audio Tourism: Vietnam and China". This album was the result of two months exploring the backstreets of Vietnam and the Yunnan province, China as Audio Tourists. Armed with a minidisc, pair of 'in ear' microphones, radio, portable sampler and camera every experience, however small and quiet, was recorded. Collecting sounds and instruments unique to the environment was the chrysalis for a spontaneous musical dialogue. Simon's work has also crossed into the visual arena through his extensive sound design for The Designers Republic. Simon Pyke, aka Freeform, is a well-known artist that has released music on labels such as Skam, Quatermass, Warp, Worm Interface or Leaf.
