i adore my bloody valentine. i also quite like the swirlies. and medicine's shot forth self living. wondering if anyone has suggestions for bands that combine similiar guitar work with idm/electronica aspects...? i'd recommend checking out black dice and the animal collective (avey tare & panda bear). they both mix electronics and live drums and some guitars with great results (and you can hear some boredoms influences in their music). great stuff... and maybe mindflayer too. it's the electronic side project of lightning bolt's drummer (he plays drums while someone fiddles with an effects box). or maybe neon hulk too... - roy brasilia http://www.unovis.org --- Thad Biggerstaff <daht73@yahoo.com> wrote:
