I agree with this although things like this are always speculative, for
all I know there's some truly amazing stuff released this year I've
just missed, but last year was really good with Venetian Snares hitting
full stride, Pita killing it, and Dino Felipe
really mixing it all up. Both left unique signatures in a genre
increasingly filled with forgery. Something
will come along, maybe the Kristuit Salu album for Warp will turn out
to out-live already high expectations.
