I just picked up the cd "Understanding Wildlife" by Shuttle 358. I know it's
kind of old but it's mad cool. It's probably my favorite release I've bought
this year. I love the sounds of glitch amongst very orchestral
instrumentation. Orchestral sounds tend to only require very minimal
percussion elements and the microtones and clicks lend themselves very well
to this. The songs without the harps and strings contain simple synth
swells and blips (usually something like a sine wave) and don't distract
from the tone of the other tracks.
