1) Not using proper capitalization and punctuation. Sentences
start with a capital. Me, I'm I, not i. It's not "its not",
it's "it's not". Unless "it's" is possessive, then its proper
form is "its". Don't type "don.t", type "don't".
2) Screenfulls of "Original Messages". Trim your messages, folks.
Only quote blocks of text you are replying to. Don't include
whole messages, and include the worthwhile text BEFORE your
reply. Especially annoying for the many digest readers.
3) Replying to messages for starting a new thread. Don't just use
the reply button: it makes mail software and the archive
(
http://idm.skylab.org/) think the message is a reply to
another message, when in fact it is not.
4) Pointlessly replying in a new thread. Somewhat the opposite of
3), and done quite a lot the past few days.
"thats a spirit- kill the middle man!" -- why not just use
"Re: The Year the Music Industry Dies [ . . . ]" (my ellipsis)?
5) Childish bashing of sell outs and evil corporations. Give some
proper *arguments* instead of declaring facts out of the blue.
We're not 14 anymore -- well, most of the subscribers.

Sorry, I'm a bit gassy today -- it gets on my system. :/
