Absolutely! Very, very inspirational (and humbling)... the last few times
I've seen him it's been under the multi-speaker array, dark-room, blind
fold strategy... it really establishes a very different relationship to
sound.
I've been trying to encourage a similar environment at the shows I'm
hosting here in SF (next one, this Friday) ~ it's always a challenge of
course to get a performance that's so well constructed.
One act that I think is perhaps working at the same level in a different
way is the Infrasound collaboration of R.H. Yau and Scott Arford: also
very physical, also builds a very real inertia over time...
