The summer is now winding down here in the foothills, and what a busy last few months we have had. CVK002 (Sense|Xhale) is still selling and all available copies are in the hands of distributors. There are a limited number of clear orange copies left in the office, and are quickly becoming a collectors item. CVK003 (Kettel|Setzer) has also been well received in the music community, reaching single of the week by Boomkat, and receiving rave reviews by various sort and sundry distributors, labels and online mags. Duotone (Japan) sold out instantly and have restock, as well as copies of CVK006. CVK006 (Metamatics) has just been released and over 80% of these 7's are with distributors and your favourite record shops worldwide. A fresh release with a fresh sound . . . gorgeous. Coming up are releases by Ten and Tracer, Bauri, Ilkae|Proswell and many others which are in the works, so keep your eyes peeled for a chance to get your copies. We also have ads and reviews in the upcoming issue of Grooves Magazine, so buy that as well for limited edition artwork by Civik's own Swedish designer David Lindström (Kowboy). We have also pleased to announce that we have joined forces with Phonics Distribution, and are very excited about them handling all of our distribution needs. D'arcangelo track is a typical "diagram" like the stuff they released on their first rephlex ep (melodic side) or the "diagrams 10-14" record on Nature. Solvent track is one of their best melodic electro works. Quite simple, but charming. It's a 7" and the music is in the raw-and-melodic "middle-period" (hah!) Suction style, somewhat akin to the Human League's "Dignity Of Labour".
