Has anyone heard the new Scorn "Plan B" cd? I thought the Governor ep was pretty good. ______________________________________________________ SCORN - Plan B [HYMEN] "PLAN B" features 11 tracks on CD ranging from slow motion grooves compounded by heavy beats to warm and relaxing structures. Yet another highlight in Mick Harris' extensive work ! "PLAN B" has the familiar qualities of Harris' former works: sub bass, minimalist grooves and some impressive (mis)use of bass technology. In fact an absolute must and highly recommended. The vinyl version of Plan B will include some songs and remixes from both Somatic Responses and Tony Child (Surgeon), who will also be collaborating with Mick Harris on several of the tracks. ----------- Next Scorn will be an?EP for Birmingham based label Downwards Records beginning of next year. __________________________________________________ Yahoo! - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember.yahoo.com/tribute --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I dunno... Ever since Ellipsis, it seems like Mick has been putting out the same cd over and over again. Colossus is the scheisse. I will probably hunt down the 12" with the Surgeon and Som Resp remixes. Can't really agree with you there. There is a big difference between "Gyral" (where the Scorn project really took off) and "Logghi Barogghi" for instance. But both are excellent albums. more interesting: most albums released under his other aliases are quite far from the Scorn sound, don't you think? /P --- "Albers, Brian" <BAlbers@PremiereRadio.com> wrote:
