Since I haven't seen this posted on the list - Slashdot just posted a blurb about the "synthcart" - an atari 2600 cartridge that lets you play your Atari like an instrument!! These are actually for sale ... limited sound capability but super impressive. I mean, -hacking- 2600 cartridges? soulseek is down, so what!! just be happy that when it's up, it works well, it's not that you paid for it ( even if you sent a few bucks ), this guy ( forgot his name ) made a good alternative to other P2P file sharing programs and services, AFAIK, he's working alone, and taking more risks than most of us, and that the RIAA lawyers must be buzzing around him like flees now ! I can live a few days without soulseek, I can also live without it!
