Jamie Lidell was the bomb!!!
It was a bit hard to get into at first but when I did he just blew me
away. It's too bad that the soundsystem in that room was as wrecked
sounding as it was, I don't even think he knw that it sounded like that.
It was still pretty incredible, he puts on a fun show, kinda makes me
think of pigbag/prince/afx, that zipper scratching was off the hook.
Prefuse played a sweet set, I could feel the floor rumbling beneath my
feet, he seemed to be having a good time too.
We gave out a ton of flyers, that was good too :-)

-Shelter has a poor sound system and everything was played at
-excruciating levels. Tons of foxy broads though. I don't know
-what the fuck Lidell was doing but it was horrendous. Chris
-Clark was pretty sick though, so was some of Devine's stuff.
-Prefuse73 was Prefuse73, I'm kinda getting tired of that sound
-but he's certainly talented and really knows how to work those
-knobs and buttons. Dntel was disappointing, I think this was
-again due to the poor sound quality and terrible mixing
-levels. Boom Bip impressed me and Vibert ended my night with
-some choice tunes. LFO got the ravey-dancey peeps going mental
-with some classic acid house and a little Donna Summer for
-good measure. All in all it was worth it but the sound quality
-and sound levels really really sucked ass.
