like many, i have grown bored with the majority of records being released these days. but there are a few exceptions, and here they are... records that give me hope:
einoma - under seilnotum. vertical form. incredibly atmospheric metallic idm. much along the lines of phoenecia's darker brown out moments and richard devine's less chaotic work. hundreds of endless reverbs and swirling glitches. a beautiful debut album, well worth the dollars.
http://www.boomkat.com has it in stock as well as a 12" (anybody heard the 12"??)
solotempo - ocd:ten. spezialmaterial. i saw some talk about this one earlier and it reminded me that i bought it about two months ago and never listened to it. now i wish i'd heard it far sooner. there's still nothing better than a good solid idm record. sounds a bit like early gescom, but there are some really unique twists that made this stand out from what i've recently been hearing. still has that "clicking notes one at a time" sort of feel but it's done really well.
bitstream - crab nebula. cco. retreat pod is one of my all time favorite IDM records and bitstream doesn't cease to amaze. incredibly tight, thick IDM with soul. sickening production.
check.
