-- Hello For immediate release. This is the May newsletter of the Ad Noiseam label. http://www.adnoiseam.net Out last month: -Ammo / Szkieve - "Terra Amata / Perturbacée" - Picture 12" vinyl limited to 450 copies Split between Ammo (Xingu Hill and C-Drik) and Szkieve (head of the Hushush label). Tones, drones and orchestral samples on a heavy picture disc. To be released on June 24th: -Wilt - "Radio 1940" - Double CD -Xenonics K-30 - "Automated" - CD You can already reserve your copies on the Ad Noiseam site in order to get it for the release date. Other news: -New acts on Ad Noiseam are Cdatakill, Cordell Klier, Mago and Magwheels. CD albums from these four acts will be released on Ad Noiseam in the end of the summer and this autumn. -Tarmvred has remixed a track on the new Mlada Fromta album, "Oxydes", now available via Ad Noiseam. Another remixes by Tarmvred will appear on the Kreptkrept album and Idyl 3" to be released soon by Frozen Empire Media. About the June releases: -Wilt - "Radio 1940" - Double CD Attached cover artwork: 19.jpg "Radio 1940" is Wilt's fourth album, and his most ambitious work to date. If the first three were experiments with a certain array of sounds and certain instruments, "Radio 1940" focuses on an atmosphere and a mood, all the possible sounds and means being use to recreate a precise concept. The 19 tracks of this double CD were created as individual piece, under the influence of literature, architecture, design and history of the 1940's. Neither a political statement nor a cultural manifesto, this album is a dusty photo album of this period, transferred into sounds by one of today's masters of sonic experimentation. This album will come in a 4 splendid 4 panel digipack designed by Ben Didier. 2 complete tracks and 2 excerpts are available for download at www.adnoiseam.net -Xenonics K-30 - "Automated" - CD Attached cover artwork: 16.jpg Xenonics K-30 is a collaboration between multi-talented Scott Sturgis and Leech (Navicon Torture Technologies). The meeting of these two talented noise musicians is a thick album of corrosive atmospheres, crushing beats and loud basse. "Automated" fills the air with distortion and weird frequencies, in a way that only Scott Sturgis and Leech could create. Mastered by Phil Easter of Stone Glass Steel. 1 complete track and 2 excerpts are available for download at www.adnoiseam.net You can also download an exclusive web-only remix of the track "Dysplastoid" by Navicon Torture Technologies. I picked up the new Peter Benisch on Eevo Lute, it's pretty nice Atmospheric techno/IDM with hints of electro. "Sabines Song" and "Faster Than Light" are really awesome tracks. Keep an eye out for in the shops, it's definitely worth checking out. _______________________________________ Next Eevo Lute: EEVO2202: Terrace - may 2002. Next FWD release: Loess - June 2002. Expect releases from Sierra Romeo, Ballet Mechanique and Peter Ford in the near future... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
