If you mean Vatican Nitez, I liked it: http://www.gridface.com/reviews/vatican.htm I discovered Global Goon through his track "Long Whiney," on The Braindance Coincidence compilation. It left me wanting more. Vatican Nitez does not disappoint. There's plenty more intoxicatingly quirky melodies over downtempo beats. None of the tracks quite match the emotional wallop of "Long Whiney," but the album works well as a whole. The beats all sound familiar, reminding me of older, simpler techno. Meanwhile ghostly synths careen around on top. This is a solid release. Once again, I'm left wanting more. J
