what's everyone thinking of this? I've been really into the recent Lanois stuff, Snares less so recently.

so far i think daniel lanois is really talented and if you left off all of vsnares contributions to the album it might be better

I’ve really tried to get into and enjoy Snares. And it’s been a struggle honestly. I mean I love Autechre’s recent stuff and their more experimental stuff so clearly I ain’t a pedestrian. But I can’t get into VS though I have mad respect for him. I gave this a couple songs listen but obviously need to give it more time and attention. But so far it sounds like Lanois playing over VS’ music. - CRT

i like what Aaron does, Lanois is a little slack for me. My impression listening to their collaboration is that it kind of had a "two browswer tab open playing different music" feel to it.
