I think Rjyan came up with the most gruesome take possible on the Britney track title. I understand the humor, but it disturbed me too. But hey, Rjyan doesn't really carve up girls, and I've seen WAY more disturbing art on records. If it's any comfort they used catsup -- not even real stage blood. and if you think that's disturbing, my name is in his 'thanks to ...' list. Yeah but thats one of the things Cex is into, kind of this wierd shock value thing. I mean thats why he strips down to his undies and runs around singing and rolling around on the floor during his live shows. As far as his music goes that new album is pretty incredible, when he isnt playing guitar-not that its bad I just dont like guitars (which is like maybe 1 or 2 tracks). As far as the cover art goes its definitley is meant to be humorous and definitley draws attention to Cex which he's very good at doing.Its kind of funny, isnt that part of the reason that Aphex Twin is now so popular, given his skill at working the media? I mean obviousley he makes wicked good music, but he also gets people talking. I cant tell how many threads on this list have rambled on about how good or bad the Cex live show is, or how shocked and offended they were by the cover art of his new album.
