maybe one of fred bigot's 12"s, "mono.stereo" or "binary.tertiary"? i
remember using certain terminology describing his acoustic-science
approach, via our concert at the ms stubnitz in rostock, germany back
in 1999, where he tuned the filter to resonate the hull of the ship,
in one of the fe blurbs. he's got tons of records out, most are two
808s, two procorat pedals, a filterbank, and a small battery powered
sampler. some of his muso veers more towards pan(a)sonic style
sounds, some are straight up rockabilly. the kompakt crowd took a
liking to him, as he's one of the premiere 'schaffel-techno'
producers, unbeknownst to himself, he's landed in a movement. also
records as electronicat for the noise museum label, does live shows
with kaspar t. toeplitz. i hear he's done a bunch of stuff with khan
as well. that may be the who and what... -våt
