Hola! Since we're all talking about Muslimgause, I figured that the people who are talking about him have at least heard his music. So! What albums are "highly recommended?" I currently own "Hussein Mahmood Jeeb Tehar Gass," which I like most of the time, and "Sufiq," which I like all of the time, and am looking for things in this vein. I just ordered "Gun Aramaic," which I know has been spoken about on the list the other 20 times Muslimgauze has come up. It seems that a lot more of the stuff is actually available using non-black-market transfers. If possible, could anyone with recommendations at least check to make sure whatever the recommendation is is still moderately available? I just checked cdnow and amazon and they have quite a bit. thanks to everyone in advance derek ------- eggytoast.com ------- coming to a cineplex near you --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

"Gun Aramaic" leans toward ambient. it's good. i don't have "Mahmood..." but if you like "Sufiq" (me too) then you definitely need to get "Jebel Tariq", "muslimlim028", and "Narcotic" to name a few. he released so much stuff, and every fan has their own specific faves, so you may get quite a variety of responses to a question like this, but my personal faves are "Jaal ab Dullah" and the first "Re-mixs". i like most of the ones i have quite a bit, so it would be easier to answer a question to point out which ones to avoid.

all of the above should be available (through Soleilmoon, Staalplaat or PBE (and you'd be likely to get better prices than Amazon or CDNow)) with the possible exception of "Jebel Tariq", which is occasionally available as a set of mp3s for free download. i don't know its current availability. peace. c. .. .. . . . --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
