nobody has mentioned two of my favorites - rap/hiphop acts that avoid the
stereotype AND have had a bit of radio airplay:
a tribe called quest
digable planets (first album, for god's sake)
so good. so NOT about bitches and hos and AKs.
and there's quite a bit of very intelligent rap on the xen cuts comp. you
said you liked ninja tune...
