It seems like any liquid on a paper-like material would spell disaster. Since fingerprints and such are oil-based, I'd say the only thing you might do is rub the area with a soft, dry cloth. At best you'd absorb some of the imprint and maybe buff the rest in as to be less noticeable. Not sure how much more you might expect. jeff At 11:39 AM 6/29/2001, you wrote:

Well, cleaning paper isn't too easy...try breathing on it and wiping with a soft clean cloth, as if you were cleaning a pair of glasses. It might leave a vague mark but it will smooth out the actual fingerprint, so they won't be able to pin the crime on you. While we're on CD covers, the paper insert for my copy of Ciccli suite has changed colour quite radically...I don't know if it was made with cheap ink/paper or what but it's altered to an interesting blue-green instead of the rather ugly original colour, which I thought looked like raw liver. Perhaps this is some kind of terribly clever post-IDM art-haus statement from those wacky funsters at Autechre mansions. Then again, maybe not...
