Yes. Check out Kim's Underground, but don't bother with the one on
Bleeker. The one on St. Mark's Place is 100 times better. Also worth
checking out is Other Music on west 4th.
While it's not quite an IDM show, I'd encourage you to check out Ruins
at Knitting Factory on the 14th. You've never heard a sound so BIG
come out of a 2 man band. If you like Boredoms or Melt Banana, you'll
most likely be a huge Ruins fan. I'm getting excited about the show
just thinking about it now. I saw them last year and it was one of the
best shows I've ever been to.
