A new unplayed copy of a record this rare? It's an nearly impossible request to get a copy in any condition much less unplayed. You have about as much chance of this as winning a state lottery. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I've heard anywhere between 10 and 300. My guess is it's closer to 10, because if there were 300, we'd see em more often on ebay. I've seen about 10-15 joyrex 9's on ebay in the past 2 years, 3 joyrex 9 picture discs, many universal indicators, etc.....I just picked up Universal Indicator Green there, which IMHO is way more valuable than AB5, considering Rehplex *IS* considering releasing AB5 some day....

OK, I didn't want to chime in on this topic but... I own AB5, paid an obnoxious amount for it, have a friend who has a copy autographed by AFX himself, photos of both are on joyrex.com in the albums section. NOTE: there are less than 30 copies available to my knowledge, most test pressings (which it was) are not pressed in large quantites, and the quality is generally bad. Mine is very hissy, and my friend's is slightly better. DON'T count on Rephlex ever releasing it; they're still sore about the whole MP3 thing. Richard doesn't like the album anyway. how about the joyrex 4 & 5 12"s, white vinyl or not. those are much better than the 9 really. you seem to keep track of these things... :) /f --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I've seen two Joyrex 4's, one 5 on ebay, and have seen old tradelists with them listed, granted the tradelist ones were probably nabbed long ago, but when it comes down to it, I've seen every release available for trade or sale, EXCEPT AB5. I have a 4th generation tape copy of it, but for all logical purposes, it would be as hard to get an original copy of as Q-Chastic.
