Coming from the ae camp and dabbling in some BoC, what would you guys suggest I try next aside from Aphex? I'm also wondering if the songs on Artificial Intelligence II are reflective of the studio albums of the respective artists, in particular Black Dog/Plaid and B12. rambling always Lee "Do your dreams come true?" "I haven't had a nice dream for years." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'd add: Fizzarum, Metamatics, Bola, HIA & System Error, L'usine, Richard Devine, Phoenecia, L@N, Phonem, Freeform... I would not say that stuff from AI vol.II is similar to Plaid material but B12's "Time Tourist" is in the similar vein indeed. That new metamatics 2x12" on Dot (midnight sun pig?) REALLY reminded me of Plaid, especially if you pick up on Plaid's jazzy/funkiness. I haven't listened to it too many times, but that was the strongest first impression - not to say the album wasn't unique in its own right, just has that same groove/mentality.
