- Process' 'Shape-Space'. There's a lot I really like about it. Has Steve Barnes done anything else? - Sensorama's 'Zu Gast Auf Der Welcome Insel'. Is it possible to get this anywhere? Bentcrayon list it, but it's out of stock there. - Has anyone ever trawled through the archives and looked at all the things that have been heartily recommended from tiny labels that no one has heard about since?! It reminds me that most of what's discussed here is pretty ephemeral. Not that I'd consider that a bad quality in music. Maybe a bad quality in a purchase, but that's something different. - For those in the seat of civilisation, a thanksgiving cartoon that did the rounds last year, but which I still found pretty entertaining. Yes, good point. Recently a friend brought round a massive package containing back-issues of Wire magazine going down the line as far back as '96. As I paged through their reviews and recommendations, I also had to chuckle at the highly praised ones that never made as much as a ripple on the pond ever since. "The Next Big Thing" that sunk without trace.
