THE WIRE SESSIONS LIVE Beginning in October, The Wire in association with SBC will host a series of concerts on London's South Bank under the name The Wire Sessions, presenting vanguard sounds from across the sonic spectrum. The first Wire Sessions Live takes place on Friday 13 October in the Queen Elizabeth Hall. * MORTON SUBOTNICK: extremely rare performance from the legendary US composer whose 1967 album, Silver Apples Of The Moon, remains a landmark release in the history of post-war electronic music * MEGO ALL-STARS: FENNESZ, GENERAL MAGIC, PITA, SKOT (Tina Frank and Matthias Gmachl (also of Farmers Manual)). * RADIO BOY, an alias for the rogue UK electro-auteur Matt Herbert also known as Wishmountain, Dr Rockit, and Herbert Future Wire Sessions Live will feature the mind-bending electro-jazz of Norway's Supersilent (November) and a dub sound system clash courtesy On U-Sound (December). The Wire Sessions Live will then continue in 2001. He was born in 1933. I was lucky enough to interview him (online in text form on cognition: http://techno.ca/cognition) and--at least from the way he talked about how important it is that children be brought up with music in their lives--I'd assume that he has children of his own; or, at least, has a great love for children (ie he "knows" children through spending time with others' children). andrew duke Andrew Hime wrote:

Andrew(s), Yep, he has a son...whom he mentioned is developing a significant talent on the electric guitar. He said also that he lets his son experiment in his private studio. Just imagine what kind of practical education in engineering and production that kid will have by the time he goes off to college! laz Andrew Duke wrote:
