I'm djing a super long *day* set at Halcyon this coming Sunday 12/12.
I probably start 'round noon- 1ish ( that's pm, not am ) and go to 6-7 pm.
Note: the Flyer mag mention is wrong; I'm not playing the night set.
Though said mag listed me as spinning "illbient" and dub, I think
it'll more likely cover: soul, jazz, dub, reggae, Hip Hop, funk,
ambient, experimental, idm, minimal techno, and whatever else I feel
like. The mood will be chill and hopefully perfect for a Sunday wind
down.
Halcyon is a great place for both the 718 characters and the "big
city" folk. It's basically a cafe, a record store, a furniture shop
all in one....and it's FREE! Come to the newly hip Smith Street (
227 Smith ) blocks from the Bergen and/or Carroll F stops.
