If you want a SERIOUS dose of New Order-emulation check the new GD Luxxe - Submission cd/lp on the Breakin' label. Everything from the lyrics/vocals to the melodies/sound quality sounds 100% New Order. I was amazed at how skillfully Potuznik recreated their sound. Submission (even the title sounds like New Order) is a great record if you're a New Order fan. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'm not surprised - his contribution to the Oral-Olio compilation 12" on Ersatz was in the same vein. I'm a huge fan of the first three or four N.O. albums (as well as Joy Division, of course), so I really dug it. Is this Submission album out yet? Gotta get my hands on it! There's a cover of Isolation by Steev (aka Horse Opera) on Spymania's latest compilation 'Welcome to celebrity fog...'. (The donkey bit has been scribbled out on my copy). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
