Anybody know where the "to get you higher than a birdy" rap sample from Throbbing Pouch album is lifted from? Mixmaster Morris said in an interview I read back then that he was impressed that he couldn't recognize any of the samples Wagon Christ used, but that was pre-Plug and pre-Big Soup. np: mogwai come on die young

that's from The Roots' "The Session". the posse cut. it's not one of the core roots members, but one of the foreign objects (now disbanded), either one or two verses after Shorty No Mas'. Also from that same wagon christ song, the 'Coolin Out... Laying Back, Relaxin' is BT from "Mellow My Man" and it's "Eatin' buds of mad grass to get you higher than a bird"

a really long time ago, grant horne said that someone was working on a vibert sample list for his website. does anyone know whatever came of that? i know the websites kinda out of date, but maybe said person is on this list? i'd really like to see that...

I think that sample might be from The Roots' _Do You Want More?!?!_ Could be wrong, tho. I do know that "Layin' back, coolin' out, relaxin'" is from that album and I think one other...not sure. Jeff
