I just bought the new TOTAL SCIENCE [Jason Greenlagh / Paul Smith] on Skindeep. Anyway I was playing it for a friend and he thought it sounded like something Clear Records would have put out. After I thought about it I agreed. It's doesn't have a hint of dnb on it anywhere. Very IDM friendly. Check it out! From what I was told Skindeep is their new label for their non-dnb tunes. Their other label is C.I.A. Recordings, definitely a label to look out for! For those of you that are familiar with Total Science they also go by Q Project & Spinback, The Alliance, Hieroglyphix, and Funky Technicians. ___________ KUCI 88.9Fm (Irvine, CA) is one of the nation's most progressive music broadcasters, with programming that ranges from IDM, world, hip hop, jazz, and much more During KUCI's annual fund drive, held May 5-15 you can keep KUCI going strong through your tax deductible donation. Neither had I until I picked up the Skindeep 12". Here is a quote taken from Total Science in a feature from Knowledge magazine. Jason from Total Science says... "We also make deep house, downtempo and hip hop," admits Jason. "We love all sorts of music. I agree it must be confusing for people, but as long as we're happy with what we're making." TOTAL SCIENCE Aka Q Project & Spinback, The Alliance, Hieroglyphix, and Funky Technicians.
