I hear ya. For some reason, when I first picked up Bola's "Soup" I played it at 45, and it sounds cool, esp the B side. Oh, Phoenecia's "Odd Job" 12" sounds cool at either speed too, if you want hip-hop go 33, if you want electro go 45. That's funny. On my last show i made the mistake of playing the "Ryhthm Box" track at 33, when i was enjoying it a few hours earlier at 45. I didn't realize until 3-4 minutes after that it was supposed to turn at 45! It sounded really cool nonetheless: slow hip-hop feel, "Me and my..." at a gurgling slomo pace, nice!
