Eyal:
If you have a computer of moderate horsepower (Mac or PC), there are tons of
software tools out there that you can use to create IDMuzak. Many are
shareware or freeware, and most software companies have demos you can
download and play with for 30 days or so.
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/ is a good resource for such tools.
Just "let yourself go" (as Obi Wan would say), and try to come up with some
really creative ways of using the tools available. Most of all, have fun.
And don't try to squeeze yourself into a mold. The music world has its
Autechre and Aphex Twin, and while it might be fun to emulate their styles
for educational purposes, the IDM world does not yet have an "Eyal Dechter"
yet - at least not that I know of (keep the name - it's a good one :).
So find your own style/groove - you'll have more fun and satisfaction that
way.
