I don't remember seeing mention of this on the list, but this
morning I bought Airto (Moreira)'s "Revenge of the Killer Bees"
(Melt.2000, 1998) with some funky remixes courtesy of Endemic
Void, Ashley Beedle, Max Brennan, Circadian Rhythm, Amon
Tobin, Jimpster Frederic Galliano and Justice (?who?).
Digipak, nice cover artwork.
This is my first listen through, and I see that Chick Corea has had
a hand in writing most of the original material - but the tracks
sound more like the remixers (which I'm happy about). Some of it's
a touch fusion-y, but it doesn't get stuck in that rut for long.
Any further comments? Has this been overlooked, or was I
sleeping?
