There were promo posters for WAP100 that were a hideous greeny colour and had little cover shots for all (or at least most) of the WAPs up to that point, along with some blurb about Warp being "100% indifuckinpedent" or something. They sent me a couple and I gave them away as prizes at the gigs I hosted for the anniversary of my radio show back in February. Greg

i think the closest to an 'idm poster' i have is a tomorrowland 'sequence' poster. i've also seen a pole poster from matador but both of those were just in-store things advertising the latest releases, nothing really decorative. i've seen indie rock posters by the ton, though. what an interesting question. idm posters, are they a myth? perhaps if we talk about it enough, some clever label person lurking on this list will get the hint? -- david

Warpmart sells a "posterpack" w/ 3 posters. i can't remember exactly what they are, but i think i remember hearing somethign about Plaid RPC/ AFx Windowlicker / One other new release posters being sold. Also, there are the elusive Funkstorung tour posters, and for the lexaunculpt/kid606/hrvatski/ kurt ralske/cex tour 100 really slick tour posters have been made. ,rj../

I've taken advantage of the fold-out liner notes of Squarepusher's "Hard Normal Daddy" and "Feed Me Weird Things" and tacked them to my wall. In addition, I've made a large AFX collage on paper which includes the insignia and some photos printed from the internet. For balance, I've also tacked some of my favorite Kraftwerk/Boards of Canada/Sven Vath/Mu-Ziq/Bochum Welt cover art. Dear God, now that I think about it, I've turned into the 13 year old teeny bopper who plasters their walls with Usher, Britney, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and the like. Well, you do what you can to show your allegiance to the IDM phenomenon. I'm looking for *legit* posters of the IDM variety also. By the way, people who come in just kinda ignore it because they don't understand why I listen to the music that I do. I'm waiting for the day when I can gloat to the admiration of all: "yes, this is an homage to the greats of obscure, European electronic music." Ok, dammit Martin - If we are talking about Autechre, (Sean & Rob), we use the capital "A", but others (like funktorung) is spelled with a small "a", like "autechre", because we arent talking about THE Autechre, ok?
