Subject:: (idm) Tetsu Inoue copyright infringed by Mille Plateaux

buyer beware: the recently released _man made motion_ on mille plateaux, credited to dr. atmo, is in fact an illegitimate reissue of tetsu inoue's _slow and low_, released on the fax label in 1995. it contains a slightly altered tracklisting, different packaging, and was mastered with slightly different EQ; musically, however, it is the same disc. fax is currently in arbitration with mille plateaux with a lawsuit the likely result. both fax and mille plateaux are based out of frankfurt, and dr. atmo and tetsu inoue have both released music on fax for going on 10 years. whether or not this is the result of a mistake or malicious intent on dr. atmo's part is currently unknown. calls to dr. atmo by tetsu inoue were not returned, and no explanation is being offered by mille plateaux at this time. sorry for the crosspost. sc

time. That is truly bizarre. Did Mille Plateaux think no-one would know? LOL...Even more stupid to illegally bootleg a release when you are in the same city as the label you are bootlegging. Mille Plateaux gets negative points for intelligence.
