This century will last only 99 years. The turn
of the century was properly celebrated in 1901,
but public demand will have us celebrating the
turn of the millennium this year.. ah, subjective
reality.
What really pisses me off is we have to suffer
through a whole nother year of every single commercial
on TV mentioning the millennium, like that's going
to make me buy something.
"The official car of the new millennium!"
"The candy for the next millennium!"
"The best album of the millennium!"
"BLEah blahe bleah eat me"
