what are your thoughts on this matrix record? i can't get into this one as much as all the other CR stuff. it sounds very murky, as in the bass levels lack any solidity and high levels (that could even out the sound) are almost non existant. then there's the Hallucinator records: pretty weak. b-side of the Red Angel 12" is worth a listen but the rest of the material lacks the density and depth you'd expect from CR. tomas np: 2 Lone Swordsmen - Stay Down Jeff Davis wrote:

if you don't have Mango Drive yet, you must. one of the best R&S tracks there is. less clouded with distortions (don't get me wrong, i like the distortions) than their recent material and a little more melodic. and you can't go wrong with the Buillwackie side. "it's a fruit y'all!" tomas np: rain outside my window. sounds like monolake.
