A few months ago, Mixing It (a programme on BBC's Radio 3 -- a station
largely dedicated to classical music) had a special on Warp Records. I
spooled a copy directly off satellite to minidisc. If anyone out there
is keen to hear it, let me know and I'll sort out a Real Audio file of
it (it's about 23 minutes long).
Mixing It is a show that all UK-based (or European-based with access
to the Astra satellite) IDMers should listen to. It's basic remit is
to cover a broad range of 'alternative' music. Over the past few years
I've been listening to it, they've done a 30-minute FSOL special
(which had FSOL taking the DAT of the interview and cutting it to
their music) and featured the likes of Autechre, LFO, Boards of
Canada, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Scanner, Red Snapper, etc.
