Unfortunately, I tend to avoid Skam as they intersperse the quality humour with boring melodic bleah such as Bola. At least there are good ole labels out there such as V/Vm Test and AC^PI that never fail to delight. BTW--Not mentioned here much, but them GoodiePal 7"s are quite the delight. I've tracked down only three so far, but they have been varied and crunchy. Also of note are some split 12"s by him on the Hobby Industries label. One even features a mix by Team Doyobi. Me. btw--- WWJD? _Go and Do Likewise!_ in the month of June...no later. Finally. :) --- Peace Hugs and Unity Jason J. Tar W. W. J. D? Personally, I think skam is starting to have a spotty record. I was a diehard fan/collector of their stuff. But stuff like wevie stonder and the alder&ellius 12" have really disillusioned me. I think the problem is that with some of the larger labels like skam and warp they feel like they can rest on their laurels, because of their past brilliance. In my opinion, its the smaller independents that are producing the more exciting and fresh stuff. Rob component records http://www.mindstorm.com/component ----- Original Message ----- From: Jason J. Well they are big enough so that they can do re-pressing's of stuff like the BOC- Hi Scores in the 5000 range. Obviously, they aren't as big as Warp or Astralwerks, but they are an established label with a rather devoted following Rob component records http://www.mindstorm.com/component ----- Original Message ----- From: laerm <laerm@voicenet.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Sunday, April 23, 2000 10:51 PM Subject: Re: [idm] Wevie.
