omnibot/kid606 "unamerican activity". only listened to the omnibot
half: fuck yeah. why bother with merzbow?
non-idm content but the more free/contemporary/noise-oriented personae
of this list might care: victoriaville was hot. the peter brotzmann
tentet was totally unbelievable. complete ruckus. the most
concentrated energy i've ever seen live. more details later, if anybody
cares.
(also, supposedly merzbow was pretty blah, & soulslinger delivered a
mean d+b set. the zorn/graves gig seems to have been the highlight of
the festival. & there's the marclay/moore/ranaldo show tonight which is
quite promising.)
