Oops! Forgot to say, I've just completed my mix for the
Reckankreutzungsklankewerkzeuge remix project (perhaps Remix Cats,
RKK-13). It's very much in keeping with the Reckank sound (fucked up
experimental drum'n'bass), should be of interest to people on the list.
I'm very interested in what people think. It's up at
http://www.fourplay.com.au/Marz-remix.mp3
There's a description of it, and two other tracks, up at
http://www.fourplay.com.au/sound.html
Just so this isn't entirely blowing my own trumpet, I'd like to strongly
recommend the new album by Thug, Isolated Rhythm Chock. Some of you may
know Thug from the fabulous Blip, Bleep compilation on Lucky Kitchen
from last year. This stuff is even better.
It's on Aural Industries, a new label in Sydney, although Tim Koch
(Thug) is from Adelaide (South Australia). It's excellent idm in the
vein of stuff like (maybe) Skam, Jake Mandell, emanate, etc. Hopefully
will soon be available from pj at s://kimo and other such places.
Hrvatski, I'm taking a copy for you!
Plugs over,
Peter.
