Hey everyone... your goal for this fine evening is (if you live in the Dallas area) to go to the Sand Bar in Deep Ellum (Commerce and Pryor) and check out the Batteries are Included party. Now, I know you all hate ravers, but get this: I'm spinning. And there's going to be a Fluoroscopic Kid live PA. It's guaranteed to confuse and confound the ravers, as neither of us are going to be doing "ravey" music, per se. Yes, I do dancy stuff, but I like to think it's intelligent, even if I do like Fatboy Slim. As for Fluoroscopic Kid, well, I've been trying to get you guys to pay attention, but I don't know what else I can do, short of telling you it's only 4 bucks to get in, and Sol's Taco Lounge is nearby, so you can always go eat there, and the food is great. So make the drive from wherever you are (big up Iowa City and their badass Burger King by the Holiday Inn and the big mall) and support a semi-IDM happening as part of a larger whole. More info is available at http://www.angelfire.com/tx2/raves For our website, you can check http://www.sonictherapy.com, and if you should come along to the party, we can be cajoled into exchanging (I believe) $3 for the various FK releases. Stay tuned for more fun from us coming soon. April is going to be a good month, with another FK live PA and also an upcoming 12" release. If for some reason you wonder what Fluoroscopic Kid sounds like, peruse the website, there are MP3s there. Share and enjoy. Please?

Oops !! In a well-meaning but misfired gesture of good intent, I find myself the recipient of the above Mr Slim's "You've Come A Long Way, Baby" - and the intelligence seems thin on the ground. "Fatboy Slim is fucking in heaven Fatboy Slim is fucking in heaven fucking in fucking in fucking in heaven" Y-e-e-e-e-s ??? I *

the golden rule to apply here is to be suspicious of any release by somebody called quentin who then changes his name to norman--------//// it's a simple to follow proceedure---- and this will stand everybody on the list in good stead if applied------- this handy tip has been bought to you from your friendly local butcher. fatboy slim is for stupid mindless dancing, and quite competent at that. im fond of bigbeat, but there aren't any places round here for it... kinda nice to hear trumpets, drums, and stupid samples in a nifty way. to me at least. but why we're discussing it on a IDm list is beyond me... -jes no, you suck, no you suck, no you suck, no...

Ha! I hate that fucking Burger King, as it's in a building that used to be a small theatre with a 'pot-smoking-tolerated' balcony that showed art films. Tonight in Iowa City Dietrich Schoenemann of P909 and Unit Park will be spinning along with Chicago House hero Frankie Vega! So if you're in the central time zone and Texas is too far, check it out!
