I was surfing around CDNow last night and caught two older releases that are finally being brought stateside for a more reasonable price. If anyone had mentioned these before, sorry to be a late-ass. Both of these are on Caroline Rec., AFAIK. 17 Nov Squarepusher - "Feed Me Weird Things" tracklisting - 01. Squarepusher Theme 02. Tundra 03. Swifty, The 04. Dimotane Co 05. Smedleys Melody 06. Windscale 2 07. North Circular 08. Goodnight Jade 09. Theme From Ernest Borgnine 10. U.F.O.'s Over Leytonstone 11. Kodack 12. Future Gibbon CDNow has it at list for 19.97 and CDNow scam-price is 17.99 Muzak Blvd. is raping for 15.88, but it's on sale. 24 Nov Caustic Window - Compilation tracklisting 01. Joyrex J4 02. Afx 114 03. Cordialatron 04. Italic Eyeball 05. Pigeon Street 06. Astroblaster 07. On The Romance Tip 08. Joyrex J5 09. Fantasia 10. Humanoid Must Not Escape 11. Clay Hill Dub 12. Garden Of Linmiri, The 13. We Are The Music Makers - (Hardcore Version) List = 18.97 CDCow = 17.49 Muzak Blvd = doesn't have a price listed I'm planning on picking these two up (as well as the new Orb on the 17th and the Bowling Green domestic on the 24th); all I've ever seen them for is $25 a pop, so even $20 would be a good deal. I'm hoping someone picks up Two Lone Swordsmen domestically. dilkus

lets hope its not nothing, or they might put a big sticker on the front for the american market. oops warp already did that for the uk release. i guess they were impressed w/ the amount of stickerage applied to the sqp and plaid us releases. its a bit on the small side tho', must be that ol' english reserve. c'mon boys don't be so bashful next time. -martin Greg Eden wrote:

on "bag of blue sparks", too, but they peel right off, unlike the pain-in- the ass US versions. either way, both discs are really good, and worth the import price as far as i'm concerned. "electric 4 bird" is really nice. also picked up virtual farmer tonight. boy, what i've heard is good. the video on the CDrom side was pretty cool, too. looked like acid.exe set to music. kind of. they are NOT being re-issued by a domestic label. they are simply being re- marketed for the U.S. by the EFA/Caroline distribution deal (the one that makes CD'e like ALL the new Mille Plateaux CD's, Chain Reaction CD's, Morgan Geist, Dr. Rockit, Pharma, blah blah blah.... now Rephlex is apart of that. get ready to see new Rephlex releases coming out for the U.S. 2-3 weeks after the UK editions for a little bit cheaper. not much, as Rephlex is one of the highest "wholesale" prices in the biz. (aside from Coil, Nurse With Wound, Whitehouse... related) other releases being re-marketed stateside: afx-anal bubble 3, 4 µ-ziq -tango n'vectif, bluff limbo I forget the rest. I posted this info a month or so ago... archive i guess In a message dated 11/12/98 2:59:22 PM, mbridge@imagicians.com wrote:

I received the Orb 2xCD UFOff (domestic) from Music Blvd over a week ago. $12 after discount. It's like they're selling dollars for $0.50. BTW, it's quite tasty - the 2xCD iw worth getting even if you have a stack of Orb releases. Full review soon. On a related note, the Newbuild/Quadrastate reissue is showing up on GEMM, so I'm guessing that it's showing up on distributors' order sheets. Let's hope Caroline picks it up... Che
