Deep Concentration isnt really like the Return of the DJ Comps, its a bit
more, well, IDM-ish, where as the Return Of's are turntablist recordings.
There are tracks by the X-ecutioners, and Cut Chemist, but for the most
part, Deep Concentration's tracks are ... how can I put it ... more
song-orientated (not that i have anything against turntablist recordings,
quite the contrary). It also comes with a fun little direct-x app on the
second cd which allows you to throw together some beats of your own. Theres
a website thats supposed to allow you to download more samples for it
(since it uses its own proprietary format) and also upload and download
completed tracks, but last time i was there they hadnt added a thing.
Deeper Concentration just came out, i havent had a chance to buy it
yet...not sure what that one is like.
