Hey any of you guys ever listen to Obliq recordings artists: MULTICAST? I just recieved this 8" floppy disc that contains music unfortunately I don't have a computer with such a large drive anyone know how to transfer this thing to another media??? . . . . . . . . . oops, I just discovered a 7" vinyl inside What a fucking kewl package. ha ha ha, had you fooled eh New release from Obliq records has got to be the most original packaging I've seen in the IDM game of who can come up with the coolest package (ie M.A.S, Orange, others) The music is very soothing by way of lots of strings (even harps), nice clicks and cuts (as you guys are calling them) and the demonstration of progress in the programmiing department, esp in the drumbeats. In earlier Obliq releases some beats were kinda lacking. The Multicast members are starting to put more detail in that department and this 7" demonstrates that! Fans of arovane may like it, if you play it at 33rpm it makes me think of that.... 9/10 (8+bonus point for packaging:) gilly --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I cant wait for this one! I still play my Multicast: hall of inverted mushroom & iron feather journal eps regulary. Multicast (and the whole Obliq crew) is another collective of artists who I believe would be 'really big' if more people heard their stuff. I guess I didnt add a whole lot to this thread other than check any Multicast stuff out that you can find! : ) -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
