The Involution CD from Tone Casualties came in. This is Cevin Key (ex you
know who), Paris (ex-Christian Death) and someone named Bree. Its total
Aphex Twin/Autechre snicker-snacker with an "industrial" noise tinge. This
will probably fall by the wayside but it ain't bad at all. Just the ticket
if you like that sound but can't find those Lexus-priced imports of the real
thing.
Now there is an idea. North Americans imitate Euro sounds and produce well
distributed records at domestic prices.
