I was over at Alex's house last night watching Modulations and he handed me this flyer, I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned on the list yet! This Saturday, July 25: Live: Lexaunculpt (Orange) Low Res (Plug Research/Key Track) Phthalocyanine (Phthalo Records) DJ's: John Tejada (Palette Recordings) Jun (Fine Tuning/Umoja Hi-fi) Tang (Cytrax) Thomas Wong At the Spanish Kitchen Studios 734 E. Third Street in downtown Los Angeles How is that for a night out??!! And guess how much it costs? $3 donation! hah! For those of you in LA/OC who haven't seen Lexaunculpt perform live yet I would say this is the place to do it. I'll probably even leave the house for this one. My lord! That is a fabulous lineup. Everybody close to this event should do yourself a favor and check this gig out. woohoo! there is a god of electronic music! ritchie hawtin, the next weekend, dave clark, the next weekend, cari lekebusch, adam beyer, cristian smith, joel mull.. and this weekend this nice home-grown collection.. the week after, lotek am i actually allowed out of the house now? this doesnt make los angeles great or anything, but maybe a little more tolerable :) mot.tom

I'd be in Californiaay right now, far, far away from soddin, rainy, cloudy London, tis good for me roses but not for the soul ... by the way, are there any hardcore computer boffs, based in London, on this list who know about Macs, who could help me, cos I've got major writing work to do, and mine is drivin me bonkers, and I aint got the dosh to get a new one, am about ready to chuck it out the window into the apple tree! aless
