I just wanted to mention that I saw Derrick May spin at a massive at New Years, and it was a shitty experience, due to the large number of e'ed up raveballs and glitter girls and general freaks, the extreme volume, the shitty sound quality, and the horrible vibe of the whole event. that news is not as fabulous as it may sound. the folks who throw juggernaut, and other huge overcrowded overpriced parties, tend to choose spaces with terrible sound quality, minimal decorations, and poor conditions for human beings. often the promised gigs never show up. I went to a massive party last year because I heard Fila Brazillia would be there. When I got there, no one I asked had heard of them or knew when or where they would play. I stayed until 6 am and there was no sign of them, and by this time more than two thirds of the party goers had gone home. At 12:08 AM -0400 7/10/98, laerm wrote:
