i just found an Ae interview from last year on the sony techno site. [http://www.sme.co.jp/Music/Info/SonyTechno/newsE/9705/ae/index.html] in it, Sean Booth says:

Rob Hall is better known as Moby. He created 'The Single Guy' for NBC and is married to Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (Seinfeld's Elaine). Before that he used to do Sniglets.
