doing the b side first, as that's where the more obvious stuff is:: B1: Jega obviously an alternate mix of 'lost message [jega mix]' from the mark broom remix EP. B2: Hellinterface: 'trapped' we all know this one.. B3: Intron a new alias for Dylan 'Jega' Nathan. it features those vocal breaks ala 'card hore'/'whore'. The type xero 12" will feature a track called 'intron V'. as for the a side. i'm pretty sure that A1 would be bola, cause it just has that bola feel, but that leaves A2, by process of elimintation to be Funkstorung, which it sounds nothing like. but my listing for the b side is defintely correct. ~mlt

Agreed. The production, percussion, melodies, and overall development are pure Jega.

I *really* think, purely by process of elimination, that this track (perhaps the most thrilling IDM moment in recent memory) is the work of Bola. Read on.

Agreed. The sampled breaks from "Card Hore" at the beginning are the giveaway.

I think this is Funkstorung. If you listen to the first two MAS records, this track has the same feel as Fakesch/DeLuca in distorted mid-tempo breaks mode.

That's beacause it's gotta be HellInterface/BoC. The icy hip-hop beats, the plaintive melodicism...I'd be very surprised if this wasn't Mike&Marcus. That leaves Bola as the only one without a track, so I'd attribute the "Trapped" re-interpretation to him. Just call me Nancy Drew.... ;) - Matthew

It's Hellinterface adam np: well, it would be, if I could nick it back from my housemate, John Barry - "Themeology"
