I recently bought Witchman's LP "Explorimenting Beats" after really enjoying his tracks off "Further Self Evident Truths 3" ("Dust Head") and "State of the Nu Art" ("Arcane Radio"). Has anybody heard his LP "Heavy Traffic"? I saw it as a double CD at my local music store. Any reviews? Has he done anything else worth hunting down? Are there any major differences between the vinyl and CD releases? Anything else along that intelligent dark ambience vein? Like always, all leads welcomed... I recently heard a 12" of Witchman remixes of Finitribe in a shop and I'd say that would be worth hunting down if you're into the intelligent, dark and experimental end on d n' b. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the 12", but it contained remixes of tracks from Finitribe's _Sleazy Listening_ album. Speaking of which, can someone describe that Fintribe album for me? I own their _Unexpected Groovy Treat_ and _Sheigra_ albums and enjoy listening to them when I need a more uplifting IDM sound. :) Anyway, comparisons to those 2 would be greatly appreciated! _____________________________________________ E r i c F r a n s :: epf@internetconnect.net [cellular] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf [si-{cut}.db] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf/benford [so-cal idm] http://www.internetconnect.net/~kdkates/epf/scidm.html "It's too bad that whole families have to be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs." - Jack Handey on: v/a - Headshop [Source] (damn I love that track by Vango Noir!)
